Seminar Objectives:

The seminar provides the basics of the Universal Serial Bus with focus on Embedded USB applications as device and host. USB classes, descriptors and different transfer types are explained. USB class drivers like mass storage devices (MSD) and human interface (HID) devices will be handled. Software modules and tools provided by Cypress will be shown. The participant will learn by hands-on exercises and demonstrations how to integrate USB functionality into an embedded system. Also possibilities for USB device driver development on PC side are covered.

2-day seminar on embedded USB with focus on USB device and embedded host -> contents of the seminar

Each participant will receive the presentation material as print-out.

Each participant will receive a starter kit.

Other information:

The seminar will be held in German language (English on inquiry); presentation materials are in English language.

The maximum number of participants is limited to 10.

The practical exercises will be done in groups of two participants who will share one PC and a connected starter kit.
