enCoRe™ II

Cypress's enCoRe II (CY7C63310, CY7C638xx) is a family of programmable Low Speed USB microcontrollers. enCoRe II eliminates the external crystal or resonator, pull up resistors, wakeup circuitry and 3.3V regulator to reduce the overall system cost. enCoRe II features a wide selection of I/O (up to 20 GPIOs) and memory (up to 8 kB of flash for user code and 256 Bytes of RAM) options targeted for USB applications.

Key Features

  • Integration: Single chip integrated with 8 kB flash, 256 B RAM, crystal-less oscillator, pull-up resistor on D-, 3.3 V voltage regulator, wake-up, and watchdog timers, to achieve system cost
  • Connectivity: SPI serial at up to 5 Mbps in master mode
  • Low Power: 10 mA in operation, 10 uA current consumption in sleep mode
  • Packages: Available in different Pb free pin/packages (18 PDIP, 16/18/25 SOIC, 24 QSOP, 24/32 QFN Sawn)
