Morning Workshop:

Cypress’s CapSense® is the industry-leading capacitive touch-sensing technology that is used to design user interfaces that Just Work™ in noisy environments and in the presence of liquids. Cypress’s CapSense solution supports both self-capacitive and mutual-capacitive touch-sensing methods and simplifies the design of even the most complex capacitive touch-sensing solutions.

 

Workshop Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, you will:

  • Understand Cypress’s CapSense touch-sensing solution
  • Learn how to use Cypress’s development environment, to implement:
    • Basic and advanced CapSense solutions
    • Liquid-Tolerant CapSense solutions
    • Low-power CapSense solutions
    • Custom CapSense solutions

 

Afternoon Workshop:

PSoC® 4 Bluetooth Low Energy is an easy-to-use, ARM® Cortex™-M0 based, single-chip solution which integrates programmable analog front ends, programmable digital peripherals, CapSense® technology for touch-sensing, and a Bluetooth® LE (Low Energy) or Bluetooth Smart radio.

PRoC® Bluetooth Low Energy is an easy-to-use, ARM Cortex-M0 based, single-chip solution which integrates a Bluetooth LE radio and Cypress’s CapSense technology for touch-sensing.

 

Workshop Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, you will:

  • Understand Cypress’s Bluetooth Low Energy one-chip solutions including PSoC 4 Bluetooth Low Energy and PRoC Bluetooth Low Energy
  • Understand the Bluetooth Low Energy architecture
  • Learn how to use Cypress’s Bluetooth Low Energy solutions and development environment to implement:
    • Bluetooth Low Energy connections with PSoC 4 Bluetooth Low Energy and PRoC Bluetooth Low Energy
    • One-chip, sensor-based, system designs with Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity for the Internet of Things (IoT)
    • One-chip, CapSense® touch-sensing user interface designs with Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity
