NOTE: The CY8CKIT-048 is not supported in PSoC Creator 4.2 or later revision.

PSoC Programmer 3.24.2 or later and KitProg2 v1.01 or later are required to program the PSoC Analog Coprocessor device on the PSoC Analog Coprocessor Pioneer Kit. PSoC Creator installation or the kit installation automatically installs PSoC Programmer and KitProg2 drivers.

The PSoC® Analog Coprocessor Kit is a low-cost development platform to easily design sensor-based embedded solutions.

Featuring the PSoC Analog Coprocessor

The PSoC® Analog Coprocessor combines flexible Analog Front Ends, programmable Analog Filters, and high-resolution Analog-to-Digital converters along with an efficient-yet-powerful ARM® Cortex®-M0+ signal processing engine - enabling host processors to easily fetch aggregated, pre-processed and formatted complex sensor data over serial communication interfaces.

Includes five on-board sensors along with PSoC® Creator code examples - one analog sensor for each type of fundamental electrical quantity:

  • Voltage-based PIR Motion Sensor (Zilog ZRE200GE)

  • Resistance-based Temperature Sensor (EPCOS/TDK B57164K103J)
  • Inductance-based Proximity/Contact sensor
