AnyCloud SDK Examples ModusToolbox Software

Last Updated:
Sep 16, 2020

These examples demonstrate cloud-connected IoT applications using AnyCloud SDK and ModusToolbox software for PSoC® 6 MCUs and Cypress wireless devices. AnyCloud SDK is ideal for IoT applications that are not tied to a specific cloud provider or management tool.

Links take you to a GitHub repository where you can review the README file for full details on each example, including supported kits. Use the ModusToolbox Project Creator (either from within the Eclipse IDE for ModusToolbox or as a stand-alone tool) to create these examples.

Title Description
mtb-example-anycloud-ota-mqtt This code example demonstrates Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware update using the AnyCloud SDK for PSoC 6 MCU and CYW43xxx connectivity devices.
mtb-example-anycloud-tcp-client This code example demonstrates implementing a TCP client using the AnyCloud SDK for PSoC 6 MCU and CYW43xxx connectivity devices.
mtb-example-anycloud-wifi-scan This example demonstrates how to configure different scan filters provided in the Wi-Fi Connection Manager (WCM) middleware and scan for the available Wi-Fi networks using PSoC 6 MCU and CYW43xxx connectivity devices.
mtb-example-anycloud-tcp-server This code example demonstrates implementing a TCP server using the AnyCloud SDK for PSoC 6 MCU and CYW43xxx connectivity devices.
mtb-example-anycloud-mqtt-client This code example demonstrates connecting to AWS IoT over MQTT using the AnyCloud SDK for PSoC 6 MCU and CYW43xxx connectivity devices.
mtb-example-anycloud-wps-enrollee This example demonstrates how to use the connection management and WPS Enrollee features provided in the AnyCloud Wi-Fi Connection Manager (WCM) middleware using PSoC MCU and CYW43xxx connectivity devices.
mtb-example-anycloud-wlan-lowpower This code example demonstrates the low-power operation of PSoC 6 MCU and CYW43xxx connectivity devices using the AnyCloud Low Power Assistant (LPA) middleware library.
mtb-example-anycloud-secure-tcp-server This code example demonstrates implementing a secure TCP server using the AnyCloud SDK for PSoC 6 MCU and CYW43xxx connectivity devices.
mtb-example-anycloud-offload-tcp-keepalive This code example demonstrates the TCP Keepalive Offload functionality offered by Cypress Wi-Fi devices using PSoC® 6 MCU. It employs the AnyCloud Low Power Assistant (LPA) middleware library which helps in developing low power wireless applications for the Cypress devices.
mtb-example-anycloud-secure-tcp-client This code example demonstrates implementing a secure TCP client using the AnyCloud SDK for PSoC 6 MCU and CYW43xxx connectivity devices.
mtb-example-anycloud-ble-multi-beacon This code example demonstrates the implementation of a beacon which advertises multiple Eddystone ADV data.
mtb-example-anycloud-ble-wifi-onboarding This example uses the Arm® Cortex®-M4 (CM4) CPU of PSoC® 6 MCU to communicate with the CYW43xxx combo devices and control the Wi-Fi and BLE functionality. It uses BLE on the combo device to help connect the Wi-Fi to the AP. It also enables low-power mode on Wi-Fi and BLE.
mtb-example-anycloud-ble-battery-server This code example demonstrates the implementation of a simple BLE Battery Service using the Cypress Combo (WiFi+BT) SoCs and ModusToolbox™ Software Environment.
mtb-example-anycloud-ble-capsense-buttons-slider This code example demonstrates the CapSense implementation using BLE Custom Service using the Cypress Combo (WiFi+BT) SoCs and ModusToolbox™ Software Environment.
mtb-example-anycloud-ble-cts-server This code example demonstrates the implementation of a simple BLE GAP Central - GATT Server with Current Time Service (CTS) using the Cypress Combo (Wi-Fi+BT) SoCs and ModusToolbox™ Software Environment.
mtb-example-anycloud-ble-cts-client This code example demonstrates the implementation of a simple BLE GAP Peripheral - GATT Client with Current Time Service using the Cypress Combo (Wi-Fi+BT) SoCs.
mtb-example-anycloud-mcuboot-rollback This code example implements a bootloader based on MCUboot to demonstrate Rollback to a known good image in case of unrecoverable error conditions with the application that is currently running.
