This application note describes LED control using Powerline Communication. It also discusses the Auto Node Discovery algorithm, which is a part of LED control.

Cypress provides a robust solution to implement Powerline Communication (PLC) for command and control applications such as lighting control. The CY8CPLC20 device combines the robustness and ease-of-use of the PLC solution with the configurability and flexibility of the PSoC® core. The CY8CPLC20 device allows precise color control with a high brightness (HB) LED controller, based on the Cypress EZ-Color™ technology.

In this video it is shown, how Cypress's Powerline Communication solution can be used to control LED lighting.
