Cypress is heading to Germany for Embedded World (EW) Feb. 22-25
Next week, Cypress will be heading to Nuremberg, Germany for Embedded World 2016. The show’s theme this year is “We are the Internet of Things,” and will attract embedded developers and engineers from all over the world to learn, discover and experience embedded innovation.
We are excited to join over 900 exhibitors to showcase our new PSoC® devices, as well as our solutions for Automotive, Wearables and IoT, among others. There will also be a “Maker Lab” where we’ll run hands-on demos. Read on below for a sneak peek of what we will be presenting at the show:
Our PSoC portfolio, including our recently launched PSoC 4 L-series, will be on full display at Embedded World. PSoC 4 is Cypress’s ARM®-based programmable system on chip, and is the industry’s most flexible and scalable low-power mixed-signal architecture.
Driving Auto Innovation
Our Traveo™ MCU family and the addition of our Clock Extension Peripheral Interface (CXPI) has expanded our automotive portfolio to bring high-tech automotive systems to mainstream vehicles. At the booth, you will be able to see several clusters using MCUs from the Traveo family, as well as products empowering the next-generation infotainment and ADAS solutions, among others.
Powering Bluetooth Low Energy and Smart Mesh Applications
Cypress has a complete range of products to suit the need of all wireless application segments. Our product portfolio includes tailor-made wireless solutions for consumer products and embedded control, along with a feature rich assortment of RF companion MCU.
The Solar Powered IoT Device Development Kit provides an easy-to-use platform for the development of a solar-powered IoT device with Bluetooth Low Energy wireless connectivity. And if you didn’t already know, VentureBeat’s Dean Takahashi featured Cypress’s energy harvesting technology as one of the “10 best technologies of the Consumer Electronics Show.”
The Bluetooth Smart Mesh demonstration will also be on hand to show an implementation for lighting applications that is compliant with the latest proposal from the Bluetooth Smart Mesh Working Group.
Less Batteries, more Light
Cypress is committed to harnessing the light all around us and will be demonstrating our battery-free wireless sensor based on Cypress Energy Harvesting Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC). Cypress’s PMICs, the world's lowest-power, single-chip Energy Harvesting PMICs, enable efficient harvesting from sunlight, vibrations and thermal variations, and offer dual inputs from two sources simultaneously, making them a reliable, flexible option to fully power or extend the battery life in IoT applications.
Giving you a Competitive Edge
Cypress’s technologies allow users to gain a competitive edge in the industry. Whether you need speed, power or efficiency, Cypress’s products can help you get there. Our USB-Type-C™ and SuperSpeed solutions are future-ready, enabling the fastest data transfer rates and power delivery. Check out the CCG2 PD Dock demo and learn how Cypress’s Type-C controllers are driving the industry’s first Type-C products with top-tier PC makers.
Cypress’s CapSense® technology consists of an advanced analog sensing channel and the Capacitive Sigma Delta (CSD) sensing algorithm. This patented algorithm provides high sensitivity to ensure accurate touch in noisy environments and allows for fast scan times. On display will be the induction cooktop with CapSense interface as well as the next-generation CapSense demo.
Visit Cypress in Hall 4A, booth #148 to see all our demos in action.
We look forward to seeing you there!
