Cultivating Next-Gen Problem Solvers at Maker Faire Bay Area
Techies, educators, tinkerers and problem solvers, unite! It’s that time of year again where makers from all over the world congregate to collaborate and explore new technology at the Maker Faire tradeshow series. This event celebrates the inventive, creative and resourceful spirit of the Maker Movement and we are thrilled to be part of this show!
We’re kicking off our summer at Maker Faire Bay Area where we’ll be discussing how access to low cost hardware kits is impacting STEAM education and shaping the lives of young problem solvers. The session will be led by Patrick Kane, the director of the Cypress University Alliance Program (CUA) and an affiliate professor at the University of New Hampshire in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. Patrick will be joined by several special guests, including a 12-year-old design superstar! If you’re attending Maker Faire Bay Area, don’t miss the entertaining and educational session taking place on Saturday, May 20 at 3:15 p.m. PT in Zone 7 - The MAKE: Education Area.
