Cypress’s CapSense® is the industry-leading capacitive touch-sensing technology that is used to design user interfaces that Just Work™ in noisy environments and in the presence of liquids. Cypress’s CapSense solution supports both self-capacitive and mutual-capacitive touch-sensing methods and simplifies the design of even the most complex capacitive touch-sensing solutions.

Workshop Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, you will:

  • Understand Cypress’s CapSense touch-sensing solution
  • Learn how to use Cypress’s development environment, to implement:
    • Basic and advanced CapSense solutions
    • Liquid-Tolerant CapSense solutions
    • Low-power CapSense solutions
    • Custom CapSense solutions

Required Software (preinstall before the Workshop):
​PSoC Creator 3.3 SP2 + PSoC 4 S-Series Pioneer Kit

Required Hardware
​PSoC 4 S-Series Pioneer Kit (you’ll receive a free dev kit at the workshop)
Windows-based laptop with at least 2 free USB ports.

 

Cypress ARM Cortex MCU

Workshop Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, you will understand:

  • The FM4 MCU architecture
  • How to use Cypress’s solutions and supported design tools to implement:
    • One basic design using the FM4 MCU
    • An intermediate design using the FM4 MCU and on-chip peripherals, including USB and Direct Memory Access (DMA)
    • An Industry 4.01 embedded web server application using the FM4 MCU and the Ethernet on-chip peripheral
