Morning Workshop:

Cypress’s CapSense® is the industry-leading capacitive touch-sensing technology that is used to design user interfaces that Just Work™ in noisy environments and in the presence of liquids. Cypress’s CapSense solution supports both self-capacitive and mutual-capacitive touch-sensing methods and simplifies the design of even the most complex capacitive touch-sensing solutions.

Workshop Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, you will:

  • Understand Cypress’s CapSense touch-sensing solution
  • Learn how to use Cypress’s development environment, to implement:
    • Basic and advanced CapSense solutions
    • Liquid-Tolerant CapSense solutions
    • Low-power CapSense solutions
    • Custom CapSense solutions

Afternoon Workshop:

PSoC® 4 L-Series is an ARM® Cortex®-M0 PSoC 4 that integrates programmable analog front ends, programmable digital peripherals and two CapSense® blocks for touch-sensing and includes advanced peripherals like USB, DMA, CAN and RTC.

Workshop Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, you will:

  • Understand the PSoC® 4 Programmable System-on-Chip architecture
  • Learn how to use Cypress’s solutions to implement:
    • CapSense® touch-sensing user interface designs with PSoC 4
    • USB-based capacitive touchpad designs with PSoC 4
