FM3 Family Low Power Consumption Solution by RTC and Switch

 

The control of low power consumption is required for devices with long standby time in consumer products, industrial equipment and so on.
FSL provides the most suitable MCU in FM3 family to control for low power consumption at the system standby.
This solution uses FM3 family "MB9AF132L" and performs the control of low power consumption at the system standby, and so on by operating together with the RTC, the switch and the deep standby mode.

This solution performs the control of the RTC, the detection of the switch, the control of low power consumption at the system standby by the deep standby mode and so on using FM3 family "MB9AF132L".

  • The MCU changes into the deep standby mode if user has pushed the standby switch.
  • Then the MCU changes to the active mode after 5 seconds.
