Cypress's family of 16-Mbit non-volatile static random access memories (nvSRAMs) marks the industry's first non-volatile SRAM memory that can interface directly with Open NAND Flash Interface (ONFI) bus controllers. This family includes devices with asynchronous parallel and asynchronous ONFI 1.0 interfaces. The 16-Mbit family extends Cypress's nvSRAM portfolio to address high-end Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), high-speed data/error loggers in storage equipment, networking equipment, avionic systems, and electronic gaming machines.
