Purpose: Laser and Drilling Machines are used to Drill Small diameter holes, usually in the range of a few Micron Meters (e.g. cell phone boards).

Functionality

1. FPGA manages Servo motors and Sensors.

2. All devices connected to FPGA access Shared Data from Dual Port.

3. X, Y, Z Tilt calculation is done by Microprocessor (uC).

2. The IO processor handles all A/D conversions and serial communication.

3. The Dual-port is used for passing I/O data between a main processor and IO processor.

CT Scanner – Data Acquisition Board

Purpose: To provide data acquisition capability in Computed Tomography (CT) machines.

Functionality

1. Pixels of image data from the scanner are input to the Data Acquisition Board.

2. The pixels are converted to digital data and split into four streams, one stream per FPGA.

3. Each FPGA will have a Dual Port for buffering of input data.
