Battery Charger ICs

Cypress battery charger IC is suitable for down conversion, and uses pulse PWM for controlling the charge voltage and current independently. It has an AC adapter detection comparator independent of the controller, and can control the source of power supply. This charger IC supports a wide input voltage range, enables low current consumption in standby mode, and can control the charge voltage and charge current with high precision. These features are ideal for built-in Li-ion batteries used in notebooks and mobile terminals.
