Cypress to Provide Development Platform for Touchscreen Development on Mobile Phones

Snapdragon™ Mobile Development Platform (MDP) Showcases Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Processors and Cypress TrueTouchTM Touchscreen Controllers

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 21, 2011 – Cypress Semiconductor Corp. (Nasdaq: CY) today announced that it will provide certain mobile phone manufacturers with Snapdragon MDPs for touchscreen development. The Snapdragon MDP showcases the popular Cypress TrueTouch touchscreen controllers and gives customers a convenient platform to quickly test performance and compatibility of their technology within the mobile phone form-factor.
