Cypress to Discuss its Energy Efficiency Project,
Role of Solar Electricity Generation in Energy Management

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 21, 2005 - Cypress Semiconductor Corp. There will also be a discussion of Cypress's photovoltaic electricity generation program, which now powers about seven percent of the campus' peak electricity needs.
