Question: How do I transmit ASCII characters over UART?

Response: Following functions are available in the UART user module that can transmit ASCII characters.

UART_PutChar - Transmits an ASCII character

UART_PutChar(0x41); // Transmits the character "A" on UART

UART_PutString - Transmits an ASCII String

char AsciiString[] = "PSoC Rocks!";

UART_PutString(AsciiString); // Transmits the RAM string "PSoC Rocks!"

UART_CPutString - Transmits a ROM String

UART_CPutString("This is a ROM String"); // Transmits the ROM string within quotes
