Security for read code on the CY22392 device.

Last Updated: December 07, 2011

How can we assure the security of programming code when using the CY22392 program clock for design?

CY22392 will always have its originally programmed configuration and will always default to it upon power up. It is not In System Programmable and therefore, there is nothing that is susceptible of altering its programmed data content. Data security is really not an issue with this device. The data retention is guaranteed for 10 years. Unless you unsolder the device and put it in a programmer to reprogram it again, it will not be altered on the board.
