NoBL Burst and Standard NoBL differences

Last Updated: June 18, 2011

What are the differences between the standard NoBL and the NoBL Burst 72M SRAMs?

The major differences are outlined as follows:

1. NoBL Burst SRAM can only be accessed through 4 cycle Read/Write/Deselect cycles (Mandatory Bust Mode). Standard NoBL on the other hand can have single read/write accesses as well as burst writes / reads depending upon when the next address is loaded.

2. NoBL Burst SRAMs should be deselected once every 2500 cycles or every 16us during extended periods when the device is deselected. Standard NoBL SRAM's do not have this requirement.
