Minimum Pulse Width to Generate a GPIO Interrupt in Port Expander

Last Updated: December 14, 2009
Answer:

Question: What should be minimum pulse width on a GPIO for an interrupt event to be captured in Port Expander CY8C9560?

Response: The port expander firmware polls I/O pins and then sets register values and INT line status. The minimum pulse length that can be detected in this way should be greater than polling interval which is about ~4mS.
