FN0 pins as GPIO pins.

Last Updated: December 05, 2011

Can the FN0 pins be used as GPIO pins?

The FN0 pins can be used as GPIO pins, with the only restriction that they are not connected to the Digital or the Analog blocks of the PSoC core. But, they can be modified directly by the controller, using the FN0DR register. The drive mode and the Interrupt option exist for these pins, just like other GPIOs. Refer to the PowerPSoC TRM for complete details on the registers that need to be used to control the FN0 pins.
