ezusb.sys driver

Last Updated: December 25, 2011

Do I need one ezusb.sys driver for each ezusb device connected to my PC?

A single driver file is all that is needed. Each time a separate EZ-USB device is plugged into the pc, the OS loads a separate instance of the driver into memory. Each device, thus, has its own driver code and related data structures. Note that as provided with the development kit tools the ezusb.sys will allow up to 8 devices at any one time. The source code for the driver is included with the development kit and the maximum number of devices can be modified by the developer. To modify the maximum number of devices search the ezusbsys.c file for #define MAX_EZUSB_DEVICES 8 and modify as required.
