DCD (Duty Cycle Distortion) And PWD (Pulse Width Distortion)
What are DCD and PWD?
Duty Cycle Distortion and Pulse Width Distortion are often driver design issues but are also present elsewhere in a design.
This is best demonstrated with waveform having unequal rise and fall times and is most often shown with eye diagrams of narrow pulses.
In other words, due to speed, data type or other stimulus, the device presents waveforms that are asymmetrical and the alternations typically have different 'periods'.
