Question:

What is the difference between cydvk.sys and CyUSB.sys drivers?

Answer:

The cydvk.sys driver is a driver that was exclusively developed for CYStream.exe host application. The cydvk.sys driver is a subset of CyUSB.sys. The main difference between the two drivers is that cydvk.sys is an application specific driver whereas CyUSB.sys is a general purpose driver. Cydvk.sys is not production. It was developed to evaluate bulk/isochronous performance on different host platforms. The Suiteusb software package provides host application and firmware code that demonstrates throughput performance of ISO/BULK endpoint. The code is provided only for reference purposes.
