Configuring CY7B994V for 33, 66, 100 and 133 MHz Outputs
Can CY7B994V output 33, 66, 100, 133 MHz simultaneously?
CY7B994V, the internal VCO ranges from 400MHz to 800MHz. But there is an extra divider between VCO output and output divider. The clock output after the extra divider is called Fnom. Fnom ranges from 24MHz to 200MHz for
CY7B994V. Fnom can be divided by the output divider (1 to 12). So you can NOT use one Robo clock get all 33, 66, 100 and 133MHz outputs. If the you don't need the programmable skew feature, you can use one CY23FP12 to get all 33, 66, 100, and 133MHz from any of 33, 66, 100, and 133MHz input. If you do need programmable skew feature, you have to use two robo CY7B9945s.
Note that on either CY23FP12 or robos, different banks can have the different output frequencies simultaneously, as controlled by the output divider chosen for that bank.
