Commercial or Industrial option during programming CY22392
When programming the CY22392FXI or CY22392FXC the software asks if the device is commercial or industrial. Why?
The JEDEC files for the industrial grade and commercial grade part are different. Hence, the software asks if the device belongs to the commercial or industrial temperature range. When generating the JEDEC file from CyberClocks, proper temperature grade needs to be selected with the provided radio buttons from the main menu. The programmer will not let the user program the Industrial type device with Commercial type JEDEC file or vice versa.
The ranges for the VCO for a Commercial device is from 100MHz to 400MHz and for an Industrial device is from 125MHz to 375MHz that can result in different configuration settings hence there are the differences and selections while configuring.
