ADCINC in CY8C20xx6

Last Updated: May 07, 2010

Question:  Why does not ADCINC consume any block in the device editor of PSoC designer when placed?

Response: ADCINC does not consume any block.  This ADC is actually a part of SPC. All access to the ADC take place through the two registers used to interface the main M8C processor and the SPC. The input voltage is fixed at 0 to 1.2V.  SPC (System Performance Controller) is a dedicated resource with a microcontroller core, temperature and a system bus.

The ADCINC User Module datasheet has been attached for further reference.
