FX3 datasheet says"GPIF II state transitions are based on control input signals. The
control output signals are driven asa result of the GPIF II state
transitions. The INT# output signal can be controlled by GPIF II.
Refer to the GPIFII Designer tool",
Can anyone explain that a little bit more?

FX3 has a GPIF Inteface (general purpose interface), which  can be configured by the user as per his requirement. It can be configired as a Slavefifo interface, FIFO Master, ADMux Interface or any other custom interface (in either synchrnous or asynchronous mode)

The GPIF interface is configured using GPIF II Designer tool which is included in the FX3 SDK.

Once you have downloaded FX3 SDK, The GPIF II Designer quick start guide and GPIF II Designer user guide can be found in the location:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Cypress\EZ-USB FX3 SDK\1.3\doc\GPIFII_Designer

(or a similar path)
