With statemachine below, how to simulate state change from B to END due to pin_b before control counter hit?

pin_b : input pin

START ---logic one--> A ---logic one--> B ---pin_b | control counter hit-> END

states:

A :

  • repeat 0, repeat actions,
  • actions : load control counter with 20, countdown to zero, do not reload

B:

  • repeat 0, repeat actions,
  • actions : count control counter

END

  • default, no action

In the GPIF-II simulator, state B is always extended until counter timer hit in order to transit to state END. I need to simulate different timings between "counter hit" and "pin activeate" cases.

anyone knows how to do these simulation cases seperately?

best regards

 Hi,

This is a limitation only with the simulator.

However, this setup would work when you test it actually. You will e able to go to END from 'B' even before Counter hits, if Pin B goes active.

So you need not worry about this.
