I get the following  failure when trying to make the fx3 sdk library.  The library compiles fine in the cygwin enviroment using make. The following output is using the tools that come with EZUSB Eclipse from the dos command line. Another hint is that the library compiles if I use the EZUSB Eclipse tools from a cygwin command line.

cs-make --debug=b CYCONFIG=fx3_debug all

I started with the document you suggested.  I had no problem compiling with make with cygwin.

The question is directed at why does cs-make (the binary supplied with USBSUITE) fail. If I want to build the library as an eclipse project so I can reference the library from other projects, the build method must work in a DOS enviroment.

The documentation fails to mention all of the programs required to build. The fx3sdk library makefile calls other unix commands. I solved the problem by simply putting the cygwin bin directory in my path. I can now compile the library from eclipse.
