Interfacing with ADC and where to get the GPIF connector and cable for the CYUSB3KIT-001?
I'm interested in building an ADC->USB3 raw data streaming device using the CYUSB3KIT-001 and ADS4229 (1.8V Parallel CMOS ADC) or something similar. My intent is to transfer raw digitized signal to PC continuously at maximum sustainable rate (hopefully somewhere in the range of 0.1-1GB/s) without any gaps in the digitization. No processing is needed. I was wondering if I could get a quick answer to the question if this is doable without the need for something extra like FPGA? I'd simply prefer to plug in the ADC output as directly as possible to the GPIF II of the KIT and make the data transfer. I can spend more time programming and learning the details later if it seems this is possible. However before I spend more time, I'd like to get some quick feedback if possible?
Also a quick question about how to find the GPIF II connect for the external PCB and cables to connect it from the KIT to external circuits? Are these available from farnell for example or which product code etc?
