FX3 boot from SPI with multiple SPI slaves
I'm currently in the system design phase, designing-in FX3 as USB device. I intend to use the SPI boot option. Furthermore, several other SPI slaves need to be connected to FX3.
From the technical reference manual, I learn (53/462):
"FX3's SPI block can share its MOSI, MISO, and
SCLK pins with more than one slave connected on the bus.
In this case, the SSN signal of the block cannot be used and
the multiple slave selects need to be managed using GPIOs."
However, using the SPI boot option, the flash needs to be selected by SPI_SSN (AN76405, 17). How can I fit the this need with the "SSN signal of the block cannot be used" from above. Does the possibility exist to disable SPI_SSN once FX3 firmware load from SPI flash has completed?
Thanks for info.
