RTC connected via I2C
I am connecting a RTC with the PSOC5, I have established the I2C connection and wrote all zeros to the RTC and then read them back, but all it shows are zeros without any counting where it should count from 0 to 59.
I reffered to the Datasheet and it says that the RTC has an embbeded ocsillator with "external crystal controlled". what does this part mean? does it mean that I should construct a crystall oscillator circuit and then connect it to the clock?
I remember reading that the PSOC5 has an internal oscillator, can I use that instead?
