CY8C5868AXI-LP032 vs -LP035 SWD programming problem
Hi All -
I've run into a strange thing over the weekend that has me stumped. Before we go into it, it could all be operator/technician error!!
I have a prototype set of boards that I designed for a new product. I received Qty 5. The board was design to ONLY used SWD and has a connector for the Mini-Prog3 end plug.
I soldered up and successfully programmed and tested Qty 2 with -LP035 datecode 1301.
Then I wanted to test two more boards but was out of -LP035 chips. I had Qty 2 of -LP032 datecode 1243. I soldered up those boards and went to program and test. I have tried both boards with PSoC Programmer 3.17 and PSoC Creator 2.2. Both do not even show a chip present etc. I did change the device in the project and rebuild.
Has ANYONE programmed a -LP032 in SWD mode? I'm worried that perhaps most testers use JTAG and this chip may have problems with SWD only.
I've searched www.cypress.com and the forums for any discussion about it but did not find anything.
A confirmation that someone (Cypress) has programmed this chip in SWD mode would be helpful.
