Creating Large Arrays in SRAM
Hey PSOC Community!
I made a post here earlier about receiving interrupts from a comparator, and the responses I got then where great! I have a much more straight forward question this time. I noticed while I was in debug mode today, that if I declare in global memory space inside of a header file, a static volatile uint8 array my performance in the debugger bogs down as a function of the array size.
I can't verify if I get the same behavior while I am not debugging, but I can still service interrupts when I run it full speed with the larger arrays.
Is there a preferred way to declare arrays while working on the PSOC5lp? Is there an upper limit on the size of an Array that you can declare without trashing performance?
