AMUX with more than 3 inputs?
Hello. I have a problem using AMux 1.70 with PSOc5. It works just fine when only multiplexing 2 channels. After some tests I wanted to expand the input to 6 channels. Well the data sheet indicates that it can handle 64, so no problem, right?
I changed channels from 2 to 6 and indicated that the new four channels would be routed from the outputs of 4 Op Amps driven by 4 DACs.
The results were not at all what I expected. The values returned were very small, on the order of .003 volts, and (when multiplied by 1000) were very random and had no relation to the values that the DACs were set to. But I did discover that if I reduced the number of channels to 3 then the third channel does work as expected. All attempts to go beyond 3 channels fail. But a strange thing is that the first two channels continue to work properly regardless of the number of channels defined.
Now I am selecting the channels as numbered zero through 5 and I think that is correct. But I notice that the data sheet says that channels are numbered as 1 through 64. I suppose that is a typo - or is it related to my problem?
