Working of PSoC 4 Modules: Stop Mode
I am working on a project of power reduction method in PSoC 4. As a part of that, I am currently programming with the STOP Mode feature. The PSoC 4 is put in Stop Mode after one-time run of code. The waking of it is controlled by an OR Gate output connected to the Wakeup pin 0. The PSoC 4 wakes on a HIGH signal to its wake up pin. If the OR Gate output is logic '0', then the device goes into stop mode.
Please find attached my project. As I am in a bit of hurry, I apologize in advance for putting commented code in the main.c file and request all of you to ignore it.
I am facing a problem in this project. Once the OR Gate output goes logic '0', the PSoC 4 goes into stop mode. After that, even if I set one of the input pin of the OR Gate on logic '1' keeping the second Output on logic '0', the OR Gate output remains at logic '0'. In short, my PSoC 4 never wakes up once the OR Gate gives logic '0'.
While troubleshooting this,I found that the device wakes up when I put my multimeter probe on the OR Gate output for nearly 3 seconds. The code goes well after that. I also tried with the Pulling up and Pulling down of the pin, but it is not working. I request to give a solution to this problem if anyone has already worked on this. Please provide any reference except the application note "AN86233" as it does not answer this.
