UART to UART loopback
Hi all. I have the CY8CKIT-049 42xx prototyping kit, and I want to push characters from the USB UART and see them come out via a UDB UART and visa versa.
I have a DB9 connector soldered into P1 ,P1 and ground, which is then connected to a FTDI USB-UART.
When I push characters(via Putty) from the FTDI UART to the Cypress board I get garbled characters and when I push characters from the Cypress board to the FTDI UART I get nothing.
I'm using a UDB UART because I eventually want to be able to store data to an SD card from the "FTDI" side given a certain string from the "Cypress" side.
Please find attached the project I'm working on.
Also, can you use a Rev A MiniProg3 as a in circuit debugger?
Thanks for the assistance.
