Just wondering how many SPI or UART ports the PSOC 4 can support. It is 2 of either ? Thanks

There are 2 SCB-serial communication blocks in a PSoC4 which can be configured as UART or SPI. Additionally there are 4 UDBs which can be used for that purpose as well. Since depending on the configuration 1 or 2 UDBs are needed. The datasheets for the UDB-implementation of UART and SPI contain (near the end) a brief listing of how many resources are needed.

Keep in mind it takes mm MIPS to support a COM channel, so

depending on baudrate used and number of channels instantiated

may or may not work.
