miniprog3 issue | Cypress Semiconductor
I have been having this problem and tested multiple things, so I am looking for input. I am attempting to use miniprog3 device to program CY8C4013SXI-400 chip. In creator, I created a program (using SW_Tx uart) to continuosly loop and send data. I have used this same miniprog as well as another to program a 4000 pioneer dev kit. I soddered the -400 chip onto a board so I could more easily access the pins and connect them to the miniprog. I have connected the Vtarg to the Vdd pin, GND to the Vss pin, Sclk to the 3.1 and Sdat to 3.0 (I believe these are the correct connection, but I normally use the data sheet to confirm this each time I attempt to program it).
I have changed the voltage, connector (rewiring), programming mode, and have the programmer selecting the correct chip. The error below is the result I get when I attempt to program the chip. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have programmer 3.21, and creator 3.0 SP1
"FAILED! PSoC device is not acquired! Check connection of the chip to the programmer
Please, check the following items:
- the connection between the programmer and the PSoC;
- the correct programming protocol is selected;
- the correct connector option is selected.
