Infrared Decoding with PSOC 4 & AnalysIR
We have just added support to AnalysIR for the PSOC 4 prototyping kit as an Infrared source (input).
AnalysIR is the leading tool for Analysing & decoding Infrared remote control protocols and currently supports ~50 Infrared protocols including many Air Conditioners.
This was our first Infrared project with PSOC with hopefully more to come.
Here is the latest list of Infrared protocols supported by AnalysIR.
NEC ● RC6 ● RC5 ● SONY ● XSAT ● JVC ● SANYO ● PANASONIC ● DISH ● SHARP ● MICROSOFTRC6 ● MILESTAG ● MITSUBISHI ● MATSUSHITA ● TOSHIBA ● KONKA ● RECS80 ● RCA ● PIONEER ● DENON ●DAEWOO ● SAMSUNG ● JAPANESE ● LG28AC ● DAIKIN64AC ● SHARP104AC ● HELISH3CH ● DISNEY ● SERIAL2400BAUD ● NEC2 ● OGAC104 ●HITACHI264AC ● ELECTROLUX96AC ● PROTECNO48AC ● DAIKIN160AC ● CHIGO96AC ● PANASONIC216AC ● NORTHSTAR112AC ● VESTEL112_56AC ● Fujistsu128_56AC ● KOMECO112AC ● SCIENTIFICATLANTA ● ROGERS● TCL112AC ● DAIKIN280AC....plus multiple derivatives of the above.
AnalysIR can import and export in a wide range of industry formats and automatically generates C code to send any signal using IRremote, IRLib or LIRC RAW. Unfortunately, this latter feature is not yet available on PSOC...but stay tuned as it should be an interesting project to leverage the PWM features of PSOC.
Although we tested only with the ‘4200‘ prototyping kit, it should be relatively easy for exiting PSOC users to convert this PSOC Creator v3 project to any PSOC 3, PSOC4, PSOC 5 chip, platform, development kit or prototyping kit.
