Drivers problem with PSoC® 4200 Prototyping Kit (CY8CKIT-049-42xx)?
I would appreciate any hint on enabling my kit on win 7 64bit. I am sorry for this lame question as I am new to all this.
I tried to reinstall multiple times even on different computers, but with no success. I somehow make it work on win xp machine, so I know my kit works.
My problem is, that even if driver install looks ok to me, in bootloader host tool there is no port except some usbs.
I tried automatic install through win update, driver installer from USB-Serial Software Development Kit webpage and drivers form install directory. I let it choose automatically and try some manual choosing.
I can change settings of the bridge, there is com port in hw manager, so I dont know what else I can do.
May be I made mistake in installing when I tried to force some drivers, so some hint on how to uninstall all the drivers and entries in registry are appreciated.
The bridge is set as VID 04B4 PID 0002 uart mode 2 pin / 8 bits / 1 bit / none / disable CTS enabled, CDC protocol.
the com port have same values.
Strange thing, that the win update is not working as expected.
Next possibility is that the bootloader host tool is to blame, but I dont know how to eliminate this posibility - i tried redownload and reinstall multipletimes.
Thank You for any comments.
