I tried searching for a solution and did not find much. Hopefully the fix is trivial...

I have a CY8CKIT-001 Development Board and I installed the PSoC 3 and all necessary software.

I am trying to load Example 1 LED and am reading the documentation steps. I go to debug->select debug target and nothing is listed. I am trying to configure the MiniProg3 device...

Under project->device selector all devices have a question mark. I run start auto select and nothing changes

Hi sjac14,

Can you let us know what the problem was and how you solved it ?

I have had the same problem. I solved it by reconnecting the USB connection to the MiniProg 3.

This issue may happen if the PSoC3 chip is not powered. Miniprog3 monitors the VTARG terminal to see if the chip is powered. Ensure that the chip is powered before programming the device. Keep reporting any similar issues and how you it was resolved.
