I'm using a CY8C20647S device and I have several configurations of CapSense pins I am using... such as all separate buttons, vertical sliders and horizontal sliders. I also want to add another config that would mux all the CapSense pins together as one proximity type button. So far I can't seem to find out how to do this... but I believe it is possible as someone mentioned this to me previously, unfortunately I can't get in touch with this person!

I'm not a CapSense expert, but I think you should be able to do this by collectively connecting multiple pins to the Analog Mux Bus (AMUX). This will let you short the pins internally.

Use the MUX_CRx Registers to short pins to the AMUX. After you should read the Rawcount just like you would do for a normal sensor. The difference now will be that you'll have increased sensitivity.

Hope this helped. If you have any doubts let me know.
