AN2360 shows power consumption and sleep considerations with PSoC CapSense using CapSense Relaxation Oscillator (CSR)  user module in CY8C21x34 devices. CapSense using CSR method is no longer supported. CY8C21x34 devices support advanced CapSense sensing method called CapSense Sigma Delta (CSD) and it is recommended to use this method. Details on using CSD method and techniques on power consumption reduction are mentioned in the replacement application note.
