AN70698 - PSoC® 3, PSoC 4, and PSoC 5LP - Temperature Measurement with an RTD
Jan 23, 2017
AN70698 explains the theory of temperature measurement using an RTD, and then shows how to do so with a single PSoC® 3, PSoC 4 or PSoC 5LP without the need for external ADCs or amplifiers. It also explains how to calculate the resolution and accuracy of a given system.
Temperature is one of the most frequently measured environmental variables. RTD temperature measurement is typically done using one of four sensors: resistance temperature detector (RTD), thermocouple, thermistor, or diode.
