RTOS Status

Hello PSoC Creator users universe. While Real Time Operating System (RTOS) support is not the type of topic I would normally cover in a Matt's Tips blog. However, I get so many questions on it I thought I'd show a little table with the status of our RTOS support in PSoC.

All the examples include documentation for the PSoC project (called the Board Support Package (BSP)) and a User Guide for the demo applications. You can also choose between the GNU compiler or ARM MDK.

The PSoC 5LP demo has a cool CapSense-driven menu of examples to try (PWMs, ADC Delta-Sigma, ADC SAR, CapSense, digital scope and OS info). The PSoC 4 demo is simpler, using CapSense to change the color of the RGB LED, but it still shows how CapSense data can get queued to multiple client tasks. According to PSoC Creator Applications guru, Mark Saunders, "It is delightful in every way" (Imagine that said with a slight cockney accent).

Mark has also promised me that he will post instructions on how to use Keil's RTX operating system with PSoC in a couple of weeks.

Best regards to my brothers and sisters in PSoC.

Thanks for the compilation. I also want to mention that I have the QP active objects framework working nicely on my PSOC5 eval board. I particularly like the graphical modeling tool (QM freeware) for the statecharts/program flow operation--its very much in line with drawing things just like Psoc Creator

replica yeezy boost 350 Thanks for your submission. I also think that laptop computers are becoming more and more popular these days, and now will often be the only sort of computer used in a household.
