Since you're using the Raspberry Pi as a base for the CY8CKIT-044 PSoC® 4 M-Series Pioneer Kit, will it be capable of reprogramming the PSoC? Will PSoC Creator be ported over to Linux anytime soon?

Also, will the Pioneer Kit have the Raspberry Pi header already installed? If not, it looks like the J2 connector will easily get damaged as someone tries to add their own header.

@tuxmann

The Raspberry Pi will be able to bootload new images to the PSoC over I2C/SPI/UART (but not program or debug using SWD, that will continue to be supported with PSoC Creator and PSoC Programmer).

The J2 header will not be pre-installed. The recommended part number of the header is ESQ-112-44-G-D.
