Of course I can't leave well enough alone. Here is my take on it!

   PSoC CAN WILL!

Why do I like the PSoC? Because every digital pin can be made a PWM! Super powerful!

Ever since my school days,I used to have this thought,every time I saw any electronic device/gadget..."How can I build myself something like that?"....And that would be followed by many hours of thinking,reading and sketching my ideas on the same,and this always resulted in me reading up on new stuff..I had a lot of fun doing so,but wasn't ever able to practically design much...and would more or less end up in a dead end..probably because at that stage(4th or 5th grade),my knowledge or access to resources was limited only to whatever little I understood from my father's voluminous books on electronics..since then,I have had this desire to be able to build my own of whatever i encountered...but many years later,my brief experience with the PSoC has left me more than ecstatic! ..all those thoughts,ideas,dead ends in design...the PSoC is the answer! My childhood dream and life long passion of designing stuff is realised via the PSoC each time i fire up Creator..With the PSoC,i realised all I wanted was possible,it was only waiting to happen :) ..be it Analog stuff,Digital circuits,Automation,Consumer devices,RF based solutions,..anything!...The PSoC inspires me everyday to further my knowledge,and is a way for me make stuff i dream about :) ..the small black square is a limitless playground to me...its a truly great feeling,no words for it . . i <3 the PSoC! :)

Before I tried PSoC, I got lost trying to make my own programmer for another manufacturer's chip. I could never find the crystal I needed or the set of caps or the right resistors or the amp or the communication with the adc wasn't working... you name it, it was a pain. PSoC makes it all work internally. I can focus on trimming the firmware and now all I have to find is the programmer. Servo's, stepper motors, tachometer, bike computer, RC motor controller, wireless communication, USB, you name it and it is all within reach with a PSoC. Police lights for a pinewood derby car, no problem. Custom joystick, or custom gaming keyboard, no big deal. Sensor input for wireless radio, done. Credit card reader, ok. USB Midi input... no big deal. I use two different psoc1 chip families and can do all this... and I have not started with psoc3 or psoc5. Very versatile chips, very robust. In all my experimentation, I've only fried one: ever (and it was rather hard to do).

MSUs can't - PSoC make it easy!

The PSoC allows me to convert my design sketches directly into a working system. I draw my idea on a napkin, and then I draw the same sketch 1:1 in the PSoC creator - and it works! This really reduces the time needed for prototyping, and it greatly reduces the chance for errors and mistakes.

It also adds fun to the process - no more wiring on a breadboard, designing a PCB or fiddling around with VHDL - just draw a schematic and have it working. I have som many ideas of what to do - and with the PSoC, I will have the time to realize more of them, because it is so much easier than anything else. Thanks for that!
