This used to be Analog Zone. They changed names to en-genius a few years back. I have several different areas for which I can write and each has particular advantages.

My column in Electronic Design must be written in a very concise 800 word format. It is actually the hardest to write as I have to work hard to get the basics of the idea in that few of words. The advantage is that if the idea takes too much space then it magically becomes a series. It took me 5 columns to get through delta sigma.

I also have a column on Analog Zone called “Signals from Noise”. They were the first people to offer me a column and they will always hold a certain fondness in my heart.  This is the area where I am allowed to wander with ideas. This is where I am allowed to inject more of my personality. Generally I keep to 1200 words. In review, it is my work I consider most charming.

This blog allows me to explore what ever I want, within the limits of the corporate world.

My blog on PSoCdeveloper.com is the place where I can use swear words and say negative times about companies that we do or may do business with. Here is an example.

[REDACTED]’s Engineers are a bunch of whinny ninnies.

I bet the real name did not get through.

I have no real outlet for academic technical papers as I lack the proper credentials.

I took on this paper because I was unhappy at how little as been written on the matter. Books I have read on the matter just lightly brush over it.  I believe I get different answers than Temes or Candy and frankly it concerns me.  I figure publishing it will have the smart people telling me where, and if, I made a mistake.
It is large at 2,500 words and 10 pages. I decided to derive all the equations and not depend on anyone’s previous work.
